Doğan Tosun
Doğan Tosun (b. 1973) was born in Babakale village, district of Ayvacık in Çanakkale city, and is a fifth grade graduate. While attending elementary school, he was studying as an apprentice and a knife maker with his grandfather, father, and uncle. It is a difficult craft, but pleasing to produce. The facade of knives are forged from steel, their handles made from horns. He continues to practice the art for 40 years in Babakale.
